Not my favorite part of the job but this all needs to be said, read and signed.  All of the information that you see below is written on the waiver form that can be found using the form box button on the home page. Please bring the read and signed form to your first class.

Classes at Splash with Dawn are 30 minutes in length

Swim diapers:

If your child is not fully potty trained please be sure to use swim diapers and rubber pants over the diaper.  To disinfect the pool after a fecal accident the chlorine level must be kept at 10ppm (5ppm over safe swimming levels) for 12 hours causing the pool to be closed, lots of chlorine used, filter changed and extra filter running costs.  Thank you for your help in this matter.

School year lessons:

• September - June 7th

• continue on a weekly basis

• Classes are secured with a monthly payment at the first class

• Classes are renewed with a payment the last week of the month for the upcoming month

• Cash is preferred, checks are accepted. There is a $20 fee for returned checks. 

• Two weeks’ notice is appreciated when not renewing your time slot

• Children must be accompanied to class by an adult

• Driveway, pool room and restroom are the only areas open to swimmers and their families. Lawns and rock walls are off limits

 

Summer lessons:

• June - August

• Classes meet in sessions either 2 week sessions or 4 week sessions

• Non refundable deposit due as assigned with a balance date to follow

• Cash is preferred, checks are accepted. There is a $20 fee for returned checks

• Children must be accompanied to class by an adult

• Driveway, pool room and restroom are the only areas open to swimmers and their families. Lawns and rock walls are off limits

 

Make ups, missed classes and canceled classes 

• “Makeups” cannot be scheduled or refunded. Paid classes are forfeited by the swimmer

• Classes canceled by me for personal or weather reasons. I will try to reschedule the class but if unable the paid class will be refunded.

 

Arrival and departure times

• There is a green/red shape in the window next to the door. Please wait to enter only after the shape has been flipped to green

• There is a 10 minute window between classes. This time slot is there as a convenience to swimmers leaving and arriving. Please try to arrive with only a few minutes before class to change and use the bathroom so the departing swimmers have a chance to change into dry clothes. 

• If you have been to the beach prior to the lesson please rinse off and change suits before arriving, sand and salt are not good for the pool and filtration system.
